At the heart of the Bloomington Police Department’s operations, the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our community. Our dedicated team of dispatchers is responsible for managing emergency calls, providing real-time information to officers and firefighters in the field, and coordinating responses to urgent situations.

Our ECC is proud to be ACE Certified by the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch. ACE certification is a mark of excellence in public safety, and it signifies that our dispatch center is equipped with the latest technologies and a staff of well-trained professionals who are dedicated to protecting our community.  ECC ACE certified


The ECC operates 24/7, ensuring we are always ready to assist, support, and protect our community members. Whether it’s coordinating law enforcement, fire, or medical services, our dispatchers are a vital link between the public and the first responders who safeguard our community.
