Filing a Police Report

Police reports are not taken over the phone or online. To begin the process, please contact our Emergency Communications Center at 309-820-8888. An officer will be dispatched to meet with you in person to complete the report and answer any questions you may have. The Communications Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so reports can be filed at any time.

Reports may also be filed at the Bloomington Police Department. The lobby is staffed by community services officers from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The lobby is closed on federal holidays.

If you are not sure if the incident occurred in Bloomington, a map of the City of Bloomington can be found here. When in doubt, call us at 309-820-8888 and we will get you assistance.

If the incident occurred in Normal or another location in Mclean County you can call the Mclean County Emergency Communications Center at 309-888-5030.
