The Bloomington Police Department (BPD) offers weekly fingerprinting services that are open to the public. The services are located at the Police Department's front lobby, 305. S. East St, Bloomington IL, 61701.

General Fingerprint Services occur only on Tuesday and Thursday, between 10am-1pm and 4pm-7pm. 

City Clerk Fingerprint Services are available Monday through Friday, between 7:10am-9:00pm. This service is only available to those who have applied for licensing through the City Clerk's Office. 

Additional information:

There is a $20.00 processing fee per fingerprint card. We accept credit/debit payments. We will continue to accept cash (exact change only) until June 1st 2026.

Please bring a valid form of identification.

This facility is not permitted to do Concealed Carry License Application Fingerprinting. For more information on CCL, please visit the ISP website at www.isp.state.il.us

BPD will only provide inked prints.
Livescan is not available for general fingerprint services.
